Widely celebrated for his timeless anthem For An Angel, which recently marked its 30th anniversary as one of electronic dance music’s most iconic tracks, van Dyk has continually redefined what it means to be a world-class producer and performer. His creative fingerprint stretches from chart-topping remixes for legends like Depeche Mode, Madonna, and U2 to cinematic scores, including his contribution to The Dark Knight soundtrack and his award-winning original score for Zurdo, for which he received the prestigious Ariel — Mexico’s equivalent to the Oscar. His extensive catalog lives under his own influential imprints, VANDIT Records and VANDIT Alternative, while his voice continues to reach millions through VONYC Sessions, his weekly global radio show, set to celebrate its monumental 1000th episode in January 2026. Beyond the dancefloor, van Dyk’s music has soundtracked video games like EA’s FIFA series and Tennis. Crowned with accolades including two DJ Mag No.1 DJ titles, a Grammy nomination, and countless international awards, van Dyk’s career stands as both a blueprint and benchmark for aspiring artists. His electrifying live sets have headlined the world’s most prestigious festivals and clubs — from Tomorrowland and EDC to Creamfields. A master of the stage, van Dyk has played to record-breaking crowds — 1.3 million strong at Rio de Janeiro’s New Year’s celebration, and 1.6 million at Berlin’s legendary Loveparade. He also holds the distinction of the longest-running DJ residency on Ibiza, with his current SHINE Ibiza nights continuing to set the island’s standard for euphoric, uplifting sound. Topping his illustrious discography is the critically acclaimed album This World Is Ours, a powerful, future-facing masterpiece that underscores his enduring commitment to authentic, human-centered electronic music.
